Residents aged at least 18 have the opportunity to register online on a waiting list and express their interest in being voluntarily vaccinated against COVID-19 with remaining vaccine doses.

Please note: it is important to select a vaccination centre that can be reached in less than 20 minutes and to remain available from Monday to Saturday between 18.30 and 19.00. In the event of late arrival, the availability of the vaccine dose can no longer be guaranteed.

Persons registered on the waiting list will be invited to get vaccinated by phone, depending on their age and the availability of remaining vaccine doses.

Persons already registered on this list between 30 April and 8 May do not have to register a second time.

Who is concerned

Each resident aged 18 or more.

Please note that if the person wishing to register on the waiting list in order to be vaccinated has one of the following health problems, they must first contact their general practitioner:

  • cancer, leukaemia, HIV/AIDS infection or a significant reduction in immune defences;
  • other chronic diseases of the immune system (rheumatoid polyarthritis, Crohn's disease, psoriasis, other autoimmune diseases);
  • clotting disorder or treatment with blood thinner medication (anticoagulants other than aspirin).

Deadlines

Registration on the waiting list is possible from 18 June to 2 July inclusive.

Costs

The vaccination is free of charge.

How to proceed

Those concerned and wishing to be vaccinated with a remaining vaccine dose can register using the electronic assistant available on MyGuichet.lu, without needing a LuxTrust product or an electronic identity card

When registering on the waiting list, the applicant must specify:

  • their 13-digit Luxembourg national identification number;
  • their surname and first names as they appear on the social security card;
  • their email address;
  • the telephone number;
  • the vaccination centre to which they wish to go for the vaccination: it is important to select a vaccination centre that can be reached in less than 20 minutes. In the event of late arrival, the availability of the vaccine dose can no longer be guaranteed.

The email address provided during online registration will be used to receive confirmation that the application has been transmitted. This confirmation informs the applicant that their registration on the waiting list has been taken into account.

It must be noted that the confirmation of transmission of their application received by email is not an invitation to be vaccinated.

Persons registered on the waiting list will receive a phone call informing them about the availability of a remaining vaccine dose. The age of the person registered will be taken into account for the priority of invitation for vaccination.

Good to know

People who do not have computer equipment to register online on the waiting list or who have questions about COVID-19, Large Scale Testing or vaccination can contact the Health Hotline on (+352) 247-65533 available Monday to Sunday between 8.00 and 19.00.
