Last update
In the event of loss, theft or deterioration of their residence permit, British nationals and their family members, as beneficiaries of the Withdrawal Agreement, must complete the replacement application, return it to the General Department of immigration of the Ministry of Home Affairs and attach:
- for British nationals: a copy of their passport or national identity card;
- for third country nationals who are family members of a British national: a full copy of their passport (all pages);
- in the event of loss or theft of the residence document: the declaration of theft/loss established by the police;

If the documents are not drawn up in German, French or English, an official translation by a sworn translator must be attached.
