How to proceed
Filling in interactive and flat forms
There are 2 types of PDF forms: interactive forms and flat forms.
Interactive forms contain fields that you can complete in Adobe Acrobat Reader, i.e. you can fill in information and tick multiple-choice boxes directly on your computer.
Interactive forms can only be filled in on computers running either macOS or Windows. It is not possible to complete such forms on a smartphone or tablet, even with the Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile application for iOS, Android or Windows Phone.
Flat forms do not contain interactive fields. You must therefore:
- print them out first and fill them in by hand; or
- fill them in in Adobe Acrobat Reader using the 'Fill & Sign' tool.

Signing forms
For electronic signatures, you must always use an authentication and electronic signature certificate (such as a LuxTrust SmartCard or a Luxembourg eID). If you do not have such a certificate, you must print out the form and sign it by hand.
Adaptive forms
In addition to interactive and flat forms, Guichet.lu also offers adaptive forms. For more information, please consult the relevant help page:
Forms with eTracking
For certain administrative procedures, PDF forms with the eTracking option are also available for download. For more information, please consult the relevant help page:
