Instructors or examiners may apply to:

  • obtain an instructor certificate;
  • revalidate or renew an instructor certificate;
  • obtain an examiner certificate;
  • revalidate or renew an examiner certificate.

Who is concerned

All applicants who wish to obtain, revalidate or renew an instructor or examiner certificate in accordance with Part FCL, SFCL and BFCL (EASA) can apply to the Directorate of Civil Aviation (DAC).

For instructor certificates for powered ultralight aircraft (ULM) pilot licences or for parachuting licences, please see the following procedure:

Prerequisites

Applicants who wish to obtain an instructor or examiner certificate must hold the licences and certificates for which they are seeking instructor or examiner privileges.

In order to obtain an examiner certificate, applicants must hold an instructor certificate that includes the privileges sought.

Costs

Applicants must pay the corresponding fees by wire transfer to the bank account of ALSA S.A., and the transfer must mention the appropriate reference information as listed in the table below.

How to proceed

Filing an application

All applicants who wish to obtain, revalidate or renew an instructor or examiner certificate must apply to the DAC.

To do so, they must send the required form to the DAC.
