LuxTrust

If you wish to register on MyGuichet.lu using a LuxTrust product, you must first activate the LuxTrust product. Activation takes place on the official LuxTrust website.

Activation of your LuxTrust product

MyGuichet.lu does not require a specific product. For instance, if you are already using LuxTrust Mobile for your online banking transactions, you can use it to register on MyGuichet.lu as well.

Luxembourg electronic identity card (eID)

If you wish to register on MyGuichet.lu using a Luxembourg electronic identity card (eID), the electronic authentication and signature certificates it contains must be activated.

These certificates are activated when you apply for a new identity card. For more information, please visit the website of the Government IT Centre (CTIE).

eIDAS device from another European country

If you wish to register on MyGuichet.lu using an eIDAS device from your country and you do not yet have a 13-digit Luxembourg national identification number (Matricule), you must first apply for one. For more information, please consult the relevant help page:

How to proceed

Registration request

  1. Visit Guichet.lu.
  2. Click on 'Log in'.
  3. You will automatically be redirected to the Luxembourg State authentication portal (eAccess): select the authentication method that corresponds to your device.
  4. Follow the steps that correspond to your authentication device.
  5. Enter the following information:
    • your email address; and
    • your 13-digit Luxembourg national identification number (Matricule);
  6. Click on 'Register'.
  7. You will then receive an email confirming your registration.

Registration confirmation

  1. Check the inbox of the email address you entered during the registration procedure.
  2. Open the email you received from usermanagement@security.public.lu and click on 'Confirm my registration'.
  3. You will automatically be redirected to the Luxembourg State authentication portal (eAccess): select the authentication method that corresponds to your device.
  4. Follow the steps that correspond to your authentication device.
  5. After authentication, you will be automatically redirected to the 'Last step to register in the application' page: accept the conditions of use by ticking the appropriate box.
  6. Click on 'Register'.

You have successfully registered with MyGuichet.lu.

You will then be automatically redirected to your MyGuichet.lu account. To benefit from the online services offered by Luxembourg government departments and public bodies, you still need to create an eSpace.

You will also receive a letter confirming your registration with an online public service within a few days. This letter will be sent to the address that is registered for you in the National Registry of Natural Persons (RNPP).

Deleting a MyGuichet.lu account

You can delete your MyGuichet.lu account at any time, subject to certain conditions. For more information, please consult the relevant help page:

Good to know

If you have multiple authentication devices in your name that you also want to use for MyGuichet.lu, you must also register them. To do so, you only need to:

  • select the device you want the next time you log on; and
  • repeat the registration steps.
