Application for an annual subsidy (tourist information offices and non-profit organisations promoting tourism)

Last update

The Ministry of the Economy can grant an annual subsidy to tourist information offices and non-profit organisations (ASBL) actively promoting tourism for the purpose of supporting them in their management of tourism infrastructures such as a campsite, a gîte, a public pool, a museum, a tourist reception desk, a tourist attraction or for the maintenance of walking trails.

The organisation of tourist events, the publication of brochures, leaflets or any other promotional material for tourists, are also eligible for the payment of a subsidy.

Since 2021, and in order to benefit from a subsidy, one or more members of the tourist information offices (or the ASBL) must have taken at least 2 training courses organised by a Regional Tourist Office during the year for which the subsidy is applied for.

Who is concerned

Only tourist information offices and ASBLs actively promoting tourism can benefit from the subsidy.
