Applying for a 3-day hunting permit (guest permit)

Last update

Hunting in Luxembourg is subject to obtaining a permit beforehand. The guest permit allows non-residents to hunt for 3 days on Luxembourg territory, on the hunting lots where they have been invited by the holders of hunting rights.

A hunting permit is always personal. They may not be lent or leased to others.

Who is concerned?

All non-resident persons must hold a guest permit.

The Nature and Forest Agency (Administration de la nature et des forêts) can issue a guest permit to persons:

  • who reside abroad;
  • who hold a valid annual hunting permit in their country of residence.
