Investment aid for agricultural holdings, beekeeping and distillery activities

Summary:
Subject to certain conditions, farmers, beekeepers and distillers are entitled to financial aid for the purpose of investing in their business. Applications must be submitted online via MyGuichet.lu.
Farmers in activity may be granted aid, upon request, for the purpose of investing in moveable and immoveable agricultural property.
Beekeepers may be granted investment aid, upon request, for the purpose of:
- building or renovating beekeeping facilities;
- purchasing new equipment that is intended to be used for the production and sale of honey.
Distillers may be granted investment aid, upon request, for the purpose of:
- building or renovating facilities intended to house equipment used in the production of spirits;
- purchasing new equipment that is intended to be used for the production and sale of spirits.
Applications must be submitted online via MyGuichet.lu.
Who is concerned
Farmers
Any farmer who, as a physical person:
- is active within the meaning of Article 1 of the Law of 2 August 2023;
- is under the age of 65;
- manages an agricultural holding producing at least EUR 25,000 in total standard output.
If the farmer is a legal person, the conditions mentioned above shall apply to the individual who:
- manages the agricultural holding;
- holds at least 40 % of the share capital.
If the agricultural holding is managed by several individuals, their combined stake in the share capital will be taken into account.
Beekeepers
Any individual who keeps bees for the purpose of producing honey.
Distillers
Any person who qualifies as a distiller within the meaning of Article 9 of the Law of 27 July 1925, as amended.
Prerequisites
Setting up a business eSpace
First of all, you will need to log in to MyGuichet.lu. To do so, you will need a LuxTrust product or an electronic identity card (eID).
You will then need to create a business eSpace.
How to create a business eSpace on MyGuichet.lu
There are 2 possible scenarios:
- You are a new user of MyGuichet.lu. You must:
- first register on MyGuichet.lu; and
- then create a business eSpace.
- You already have a private eSpace on MyGuichet.lu. You can directly create a business eSpace without having to register again.

Deadlines
Aid applications are assessed and beneficiaries are selected 4 times a year.
The deadline for submitting aid applications is the last day of February, May, August and November.
How to proceed
Filing the application
Applications must be filed online via the MyGuichet.lu platform. This procedure requires authentication using a LuxTrust product or an electronic identity card (eID).
Before submitting your application, you will need to complete the following steps:
- fill in the required information;
- confirm your input;
- validate your input.
Supporting documents
You will need to attach any supporting documents that you may be asked to provide while filling in the application form on MyGuichet.lu.
Amount of aid
The amount of aid granted varies depending of the category of investment (movables, immovables, beekeeping, distillation, etc.) and the type of investment.
