How to proceed
Filing an application

It will be accompanied by a letter listing the additional items required for the issue of a licence to practise one of the social and educational professions:
- payment of the EUR 75 fee for the licence to practise;
- a recent copy of the applicant's criminal record (record no. 3 and record no. 5 for residents of Luxembourg / model 2 for residents of Belgium) that is no more than two months old.
Proof of payment of the fee of EUR 75 must be submitted with the application.
Processing the application
Once the applicant's file is complete, the Department for the recognition of diplomas will generally respond within 2 to 6 weeks, and after no more than 3 months.
This period begins on the date on which the Department for the recognition of diplomas receives the complete application file.
