As the holder of a valid business permit, you can request a duplicate of your business permit.

The duplicate is issued in electronic format via the MyGuichet.lu platform in French, German and English and also contains a GouvCheck QR code.

You can consult the business permits issued by the Ministry of the Economy by using the tool 'Search for a business permit' available on our website.

Who is concerned?

Any person holding a valid business permit.

An agent can also carry out this procedure on behalf of their client, provided that they provide proof that the holder of the business permit has authorised them to carry out the necessary procedures on their behalf (mandate, power of attorney).

Prerequisites

In order to request a duplicate business permit, you must:

  • hold a valid business permit;
  • have a business eSpace on MyGuichet.lu;

How to create a business eSpace on MyGuichet.lu

There are 2 possible scenarios:

  1. You are a new user of MyGuichet.lu. You must:
    • first register on MyGuichet.lu; and
    • then create a business eSpace.
  2. You already have a private eSpace on MyGuichet.lu. You can directly create a business eSpace without having to register again.

The issuance of a duplicate is free of charge.

How to proceed

Filing an application

The request for a duplicate business permit must be made exclusively online via MyGuichet.lu by either the business manager themself or by their agent.

The online procedure requires authentication via your business eSpace meaning that you will require the following in order to submit your request:

  • a LuxTrust product; or
  • an electronic identity card (eID).

If you have a business eSpace on MyGuichet.lu linked to the mobile application, you can also submit the application using the mobile app.

Mandatory documents

If you are applying for a duplicate in your capacity as an agent, you must enclose a power of attorney authorising you to do so.

Issuance of the duplicate

The duplicate business permit is sent to you online via the MyGuichet.lu platform.

It is issued in French, German and English.

A GouvCheck QR code is embedded in the document so that its authenticity can be verified.
