National Solidarity Fund (FNS)

The National Solidarity Fund (Fonds national de solidarité - FNS) is a public-sector establishment under the supervision of the Ministry of Family Affairs, Solidarity, Living Together and Reception of Refugees.

Its main duties are the management and settlement of various social benefits:

the social inclusion income;
the allowance for severely disabled persons;
the cost-of-living benefit and energy allowance;
the advance on and recovery of maintenance payments;
the contribution to gerontology admission costs;
the child-raising pension.
