Declaration or modification of your IBAN with the ACD

If the Luxembourg Inland Revenue (Administration des contributions directes - ACD) needs your bank details (account holder name, IBAN, BIC, etc.) to make a reimbursement, you can:
- submit your bank details; or
- update your bank details online via MyGuichet.lu.
The ACD's revenue department will automatically use the bank account number you provided for all reimbursements to you.
Who is concerned
Any taxpayer who wants to:
- submit; or
- update their bank details with the ACD.
Prerequisites
To submit or update your bank details via MyGuichet.lu, you will need:
- a 13-digit national identification number (Matricule); and
- a LuxTrust product or a Luxembourg electronic identity card (eID) in order to:
- create a MyGuichet.lu account; and
- sign the online procedure electronically.
How to proceed
Submission or update of your bank details
You can submit or update your bank details online via MyGuichet.lu (see 'Online services and forms').
After having started the online procedure, you will be invited to follow the electronic assistant's instructions in order to complete your data.
You must state the information as indicated on your:
- bank account identification document; or
- bank confirmation letter.

You must also enclose with your procedure:
- a bank account identification document (RIB); or
- a bank confirmation letter (BCL).

The bank account identification document (relevé d’identité bancaire - RIB) is an official document issued by a Luxembourgish or foreign bank that states:
- the account holder; and
- the IBAN and BIC/SWIFT numbers.
In principle, you can easily download an RIB from your online account of your bank.
A bank confirmation letter (BCL) is a document issued by a bank in order to confirm the account holder's status and the balance of their account.
If required, you must attach other supporting documents as requested by the electronic assistant (power of attorney, etc.).
Electronic signature
The online procedure requires a signature with an authentication and electronic signature certificate that is contained in:
- a LuxTrust product; or
- a Luxembourg electronic identity card (eID).
You cannot sign electronically with an eIDAS-compliant means of identification from another country.
