Easy access to the Electronic Healthcare Record (DSP) via MyGuichet.lu

Last update

You can now activate your eSanté account online via MyGuichet.lu and access your Electronic Healthcare Record (DSP) through the Luxembourg Government's secure interactive platform. This allows you to access your DSP without having to wait for a code to be sent by post. All you need is a LuxTrust authentication product and a private eSpace on MyGuichet.lu.

By allowing citizens to access another key online service via the interactive platform with their MyGuichet.lu ID, the interactive platform has thus strengthened its position as a single point of contact (SPOC) for the electronic communication of administrative procedures and digital government services.

How can I access the Electronic Healthcare Record (DSP)?

The eSanté Agency automatically creates an eSanté account for any person registered with the Joint Social Security Centre (Centre commun de la sécurité sociale - CCSS). You have to activate this account in order to access your DSP – the secure, personal electronic healthcare record under the patient's direct control.

The eSanté account can now be activated in the private eSpace on MyGuichet.lu, under the heading 'My data'. After activation, the DSP can also be accessed via the private eSpace: after using your LuxTrust product to log in to MyGuichet.lu, you will be redirected to the DSP via the authentic source 'Electronic Healthcare Record'.

Please note, in order to facilitate access for all, if you do not have a LuxTrust device, you can still activate your eSanté account and access your DSP via:

  • the eSanté portal; or
  • the MyDSP mobile app.

DSP features

In addition to the fact that the DSP gives the patient complete control in terms of sharing their health data with the healthcare professionals involved in their medical care, it also fosters patient empowerment. The various features of the DSP enable you to actively participate in your healthcare journey.

Therefore, you can:

  • consult your health data at any time, such as blood test results, X-rays, MRIs, etc.;
  • grant access rights to a specific healthcare professional, by registering them in your trusted medical circle or by providing them with the presence code, which can be retrieved from the DSP;
  • grant access rights to emergency services;
  • upload medical information yourself;
  • express your wishes, e.g. with regard to organ donation;
  • appoint a DSP assistant, i.e. a person of trust who is authorised to manage the DSP jointly with or on behalf of the DSP holder.

This feature is particularly useful for:

  • people who are not at ease using digital tools; or
  • parents who wish to consult their children's DSP via their own DSP.
