Registration for 'Info-Langage' sessions
Last update
Summary:
Information sessions on communication and language development from birth to age 4. Specialised speech therapists from the Health Directorate explain language development and provide practical advice on how to support it.
The 'Info-Langage' sessions are group information sessions on communication and language development for parents of children under the age of 3.
Studies show that healthy language and communication development is essential for children's social and academic development. Like most new parents, you probably have many questions about this development:
- how can communication be stimulated effectively?
- how can multilingualism be managed?
- should screens be avoided?
- what should be done if language does not evolve?
To get answers to all these questions, the Health Directorate invites you to meet with its specialised speech therapists who will:
- explain the steps of language development; and
- offer practical advice to encourage it.
The 'Info-Langage' sessions are organised in groups of up to 20 participants and are offered in French, Luxembourgish, English and Portuguese.
For an individual assessment of your child's language development, please consult the 'Bilan 30' programme.
Who is concerned
Parents of children under the age of 3 and anyone interested in the subject.
These are group information sessions for adults. For an individual assessment of your child's language development, please consult the 'Bilan 30' programme.
'Info-Langage' sessions are also organised for early childhood professionals in the health and education sectors. If you are interested, please consult the training schedule in the field of non-formal education.
Costs
