For many of us, completing the tax return is a tedious task that often takes a long time and involves a lot of paperwork.

But don't forget that there is a much easier and quicker way to complete the tax return. You can use the electronic assistant on MyGuichet.lu.

Before starting the procedure, you will be asked a series of questions to check whether you meet the conditions to complete your tax return via the electronic assistant.

If you do not fall into the electronic assistant's target audience, you can file your tax return by either sending the PDF version via MyGuichet.lu or by post.

By filling in the tax return using the electronic assistant, the Luxembourg Inland Revenue (ACD) can collect the data that it will use in the future to pre-fill your return, thus making your task easier.

This is a procedure requiring authentication, you will therefore need:

• a LuxTrust product; or
• a Luxembourg electronic identity card (eID).

You must also register on MyGuichet.lu and create a private eSpace.
