If you are looking to carry out a planning, urbanisation or development project, you can ask for an appointment with the CFUE in order to receive technical assistance and advice within the framework of planning and authorisation processes for the said project.

The CFUE:

  • answers questions from individuals and professionals about urban planning and environmental matters;
  • provides an overview of the applicable laws and regulations;
  • determines which steps are required to make a project a reality.

Citizens, companies or communes wishing to carry out a planning, urbanisation or development project.

Prerequisites

Ideally, you should contact the CFUE at the beginning of the planning process, before the official procedures are initiated.

How to proceed

Submitting the application

Appointments can be made on MyGuichet.lu. You can submit your request:

  • with authentication using:
    • a LuxTrust product;
    • a Luxembourg electronic identity card (eID).
    • an eIDAS device from another European country;
  • without authentication.

You are invited to:

  • provide explanations about your project;
  • attach explanatory documents if necessary.

Processing the application

Following the transmission of the request for an appointment, the CFUE analyses the situation as well as the legal and regulatory framework according to the context of the project. It will then contact you to arrange a meeting (in person or by video conference) in order to:

  • review the rules that apply to the plot of land and the project,
  • discuss your specific requirements.

Good to know

The CFUE can also act as a mediator in the event of prolonged silence or failure to meet a deadline for responding to a request for authorisation.
