How to find the identifier of my personal eSpace (private or business)

Last update

On MyGuichet.lu, there are some procedures that require the electronic signature of 2 people. Some of these procedures (for example, filing a tax return via the electronic assistant or applying for a name change by both parents) require a double signature with transfer to another eSpace. This means that the person who first signs the procedure in their personal eSpace must send the procedure to the personal eSpace of a second person so that they can also add their signature using their own LuxTrust product.

If the second signatory is:

  • a natural person, they will need the identifier of their private eSpace for the transfer;
  • a legal person (e.g. a trust company), it will need the identifier of their business eSpace for the transfer.

The identifier of a personal eSpace always consists of:

  • the abbreviation PP (which stands for 'personne physique' = natural person') or PM (which stands for 'personne morale' = legal person);
  • a dash; and
  • a combination of 6 capital letters and/or numbers.

It is case sensitive.

The eSpace identifier is not the same as the user certificate number. You need the certificate number if someone wants to add you to a business eSpace.

Browser version

To find the identifier of a personal eSpace, first log on to MyGuichet.lu. If you only have one personal eSpace (private or business), you will be taken to its homepage. There you can find the eSpace identifier:

  • under the eSpace name; and
  • in the header (in the desktop view only).

If you have one or more personal eSpaces, you will first be taken to the eSpace selection page. You will find the eSpace identifier to the right of the heading.

Mobile app

If you are using the MyGuichet.lu mobile application, tap on the eSpace name to access the eSpace selection menu. You will find the eSpace identifier immediately above the eSpace name.
