Notification of termination of the activity of a classified establishment

Last update

Are you the operator of a classified establishment that is going out of business for good? Then you must notify the relevant authority or authorities before the business ceases trading definitively, by sending in a declaration of cessation of activity form.

Depending on the class of the establishment, you must send this form to the Environment Agency or the Inspectorate of Labour and Mines.

The declaration of cessation of activity is mandatory for establishments in classes 1, 1A, 1B, 3, 3A and 3B. This procedure does not apply to class 4 classified establishments.
