School Integration and Welcoming Service (SIA)

The SIA (Service de l’intégration et de l’accueil scolaires - SIA) acts as a first point of contact between newly arrived pupils and schools. Its aim is to inform pupils aged over 4 and their parents who have recently arrived in the country, as well as those wishing to change school system, about the schooling available. It also aims to guide them towards the most appropriate training, taking into account their skills. Newly arrived pupils are assigned to a school that best fits their profile based on an educational file.
