The National Pension Insurance Fund (Caisse nationale d’assurance pension - CNAP) can provide you with an estimate of the amount of your old-age pension or early retirement pension upon request.

You can request an estimate if you:

• are between 56 and 64 years old; and
• have or have had a professional activity in Luxembourg (salaried or self-employed) under the general pension insurance scheme (for the private sector: employees and self-employed workers).

Requests must be submitted:

• online via MyGuichet.lu. You can choose a procedure either with or without authentication; or
• by post.

This service includes the following:

• a reconstitution of the insurance periods (recording of periods not yet known to the CNAP, e.g. work periods spent abroad, periods of study, etc.);
• the calculation of the earliest date on which your old-age pension or early retirement pension could start;
• the estimated amount of your future pension at 2 different start dates at the most, i.e.:
  • on the calculated start date; and/or
  • a later date of your choice.
