Fast-track recruitment outside the European Union: new list of occupations in high shortage

You can benefit from a simplified and fast-track procedure to facilitate the recruitment of third-country nationals for occupations facing a severe shortage of workers.
To qualify, the vacancy you are seeking to fill must fall within one of the professions facing a severe shortage, as listed by the National Employment Agency (ADEM), a new version of which has just been published in the Official Journal.
As a reminder, before hiring a third-country national, you must obtain a certificate issued by ADEM authorising you to recruit the person of your choice.
For occupations facing a severe shortage of workers, you can obtain this certificate within five working days, compared with seven days for other occupations.
