This year, the cost-of-living benefit will be supplemented by financial aid for elderly people on modest incomes.

Who can benefit?

You can benefit from this aid if you meet at least the following conditions:

• you are eligible for the cost-of-living benefit and/or the energy allowance; and
• you receive an old-age/survivor's pension; and/or
• you are aged 65 or over.

How to apply

No additional procedure is required.

The aid is paid automatically to anyone who:

• has already submitted an application for the cost-of-living benefit and/or the energy allowance; and
• meets the conditions.
