Last update

Do you wish to increase the value of your professional and personal experience by obtaining a recognition of your skills?

To find out more, join the information sessions on accreditation of prior experiential learning, also called validation of non-formal and informal learning (validation des acquis de l’expérience - VAE).

These sessions are organised by the National Institute for the Development of Continuing Vocational Training (Institut national pour le développement de la formation professionnelle continue - INFPC) in collaboration with the professional chambers and the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth.

VAE is open to anyone, whatever their age, level of education or professional situation.

It allows you to:

  • obtain a qualification or partial validation;
  • access a training programme; or
  • be exempted from certain courses in a study programme.

The following qualifications are concerned by the VAE:

  • the vocational capacity certificate (certificat de capacité professionnelle - CCP), the vocational aptitude diploma (diplôme d’aptitude professionnelle - DAP), the technician's diploma (diplôme de technicien - DT), the secondary school leaving diploma and the master craftsman's certificate;
  • the advanced technician's certificate (brevet de technicien supérieur- BTS), the Bachelor's and the Master's degrees (only in terms of access to the studies or to benefit from certain course exemptions).

The information sessions take place at the Chamber of Employees located at 2-4 rue Pierre Hentges, L-1726 Luxembourg on:

  • Monday 29 September 2025 from 18.00 to 19.00 in French (presentation on site and via livestream)
  • Wednesday 1 October 2025 from 18.00 to 19.00 in Luxembourgish (presentation on site and via livestream).

Participation is free of charge, but online registration to the sessions is mandatory.
