Hunting: compensation for damage caused by game

Last update

Any person who has suffered damage caused by game on a hunting ground must declare the damage as soon as possible.

This declaration will enable them to obtain, under certain conditions, compensation which includes the loss of harvest, as well as the costs incurred for restoring the land.

The compensation is payable by the hunting leaseholder, who may in turn request compensation to cover part of the sums spent during the hunting season to restore the damage caused by deer and wild boar.
