Finding public procurement contracts

Last update

This page is currently being updated.

The State, the communes, public establishments or communal syndicates regularly publish public procurement notices announcing their intention to resort to the services of private entrepreneurs, suppliers or service providers.

These procurement notices allow to put economic operators in competition with each other and to conclude the contract with the operator tendering the best offer from an economic standpoint.

Economic operators who wish to participate in public procurement contracts can look up these notices on the Portal for public procurement contracts.

Moreover: Enterprise Europe Network at the Chamber of Skilled Trades and Crafts offers a 'monitoring service for public procurement contracts' which one can subscribe to in order to be informed about public procurement contracts offered in the Greater Region or even the European Union.

Who is concerned

Any natural or legal person or group can access these notices and submit an offer for the execution of works, supply of goods or provision of services.

How to proceed

Public procurement notices in Luxembourg

Businesses can access the notices advertised by the bodies registered on the portal for public procurement contracts online.

In other words, the portal does not publish all the public procurement notices in Luxembourg. However, each public procurement notice is published in the newspapers before its publication on the internet.

The Portal for public procurement contracts enables interested parties to access the list of current public procurement notices as well as the list of every procurement notice published in Luxembourg.

Businesses may search for the notices by keyword or by contracting entity (administration or body publishing the notice), by category or type of work, by geographical situation, etc.

Monitoring service for public procurement contracts on the website of the Chamber of Skilled Trades and Crafts

Business may subscribe to the 'Monitoring service for public procurement contracts' offered by the Chamber of Skilled Trades and Crafts and receive via email public procurement notices published in the Greater Region and/or the European Union.

Businesses will be able to access the notices selected by Enterprise Europe Network according to a geographical area which can be determined by the business itself.

The subscription 'Grande Région' addresses businesses who intent to limit their search to the Greater Region; the search includes public procurement notices published in the main regional newspapers and on 300 websites which focus on public procurement notices in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland.

The subscription 'Europe' addresses businesses whose search for contracts is EU wide; the searches are based on the TED database (Tenders Electronic Daily) and are updated on a daily basis.

The subscription 'Combi' collects all the notices from both the Greater Region and the EU.
