In the Luxembourg health sector, many professions require a licence to practise. The licence is issued by the Ministry of Health and Social Security and must be obtained before you can practise your profession. Similarly, if you are already working as a health professional in Luxembourg, you may need to renew your current licence.

The licence to practise is granted subject to certain specific conditions (diploma, character and good repute, language skills, etc.) failure to comply with which will result in sanctions.

The licence to practise and applications for renewal of the licence to practise can be made online via MyGuichet.lu, with or without authentication.
