Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS)
All national emergency services in Luxembourg are grouped together in the public-sector establishment Corps grand-ducal d'incendie et de secours - CGDIS.
The CGDIS groups together the following services:
- the various communal fire and rescue services;
- the civil protection units;
- SAMU (Service d'aide médicale urgente - emergency medical services);
- the Fire and Ambulance Department of Luxembourg City;
- the airport fire department.
