New European regulations on the operation of a UAS (unmanned aircraft system - drone) have come into force on 1 January 2024.

In this context, there are now 2 new online procedures available on MyGuichet.lu:

• the Declaration to provide and assess training for a standard scenario (STS) – SPECIFIC category; and
• the Declaration of operation according to a standard scenario (STS) – SPECIFIC category.

This is a procedure with authentication that requires a LuxTrust product or an electronic identity card (eID).

Each of these applications can also be sent to the Directorate of Civil Aviation (Direction de l'Aviation Civile - DAC) by post or email using a specific form.
