The rent subsidy is a monthly financial aid granted, under certain conditions, to households with low or modest incomes in order to help them rent accommodation.

Recently, changes have been made to this scheme, particularly with regard to the income taken into account as a basis for calculation. The amount of the monthly subsidy varies according to the composition and income of the domestic community.

Applications for rent subsidy can be made throughout the year to the Housing Aid Service.
