Each owner or holder of a vehicle registered in Luxembourg who had their vehicle temporarily deregistered, may request its re-registration.

To do this, they must meet the following 2 requirements:

• the owner of the vehicle has not changed; and
• the vehicle was temporarily deregistered, in the course of which process Part I of the Certificate of Registration was returned to the National Society of Automotive Traffic (Société nationale de circulation automobile - SNCA).

You can submit your application for re-registration:

• online using MyGuichet.lu by logging on to your private eSpace with your LuxTrust product or electronic identity card; or
• by submitting the relevant paper form to the SNCA.

You will receive a certificate of registration and a temporary tax stamp that is valid for 30 days.
