Businesses and communal authorities that have recently purchased a property will soon receive an invitation from the National Institute for Statistics and Economic Studies (STATEC) to participate in the housing characteristics survey (ECM).

This survey, which has been conducted among private individuals for some time now, aims to gain a better understanding of the specific characteristics of properties acquired in Luxembourg in order to calculate a constant quality price index.

If you receive an invitation, you can easily respond:

• online via MyGuichet.lu (with or without authentication, for example by using a LuxTrust product); or
• by completing the questionnaire on paper which was sent together with the invitation.

Participation in the ECM survey is mandatory for the persons that have received an invitation.
