Last update

Newly created micro-businesses in the trade and craft sectors can now benefit from aid for first-time business start-ups.

This financial aid scheme is aimed at micro-enterprises that:

  • employ fewer than 10 people;
  • have an annual turnover or balance sheet total of less than EUR 2 million; and
  • have held a business permit for less than 6 months.

The aid takes the form of a one-off capital grant, which is paid in monthly instalments of EUR 2,000 for a maximum of 6 months. The total amount of aid per single enterprise may not exceed EUR 12,000.

The request for financial aid must be submitted via the applicant's business eSpace on the MyGuichet.lu platform with authentication using a LuxTrust product (e.g. Token, Smartcard or Signing stick) or an electronic identity card (eID).

The procedure is also available in the mobile app.
