Do you wish to increase the value of your professional and personal experience by obtaining a recognition of your skills?

The accreditation of prior experiential learning (VAE) allows you to:

  • to obtain a qualification or partial validation of prior learning;
  • access training programmes; or
  • be exempted from certain courses in a study programme.

The National Institute for the Development of Continuing Vocational Training (INFPC) is organising, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth and the professional chambers, 2 information sessions to present the VAE scheme, explain the procedures and answer your questions.

The following qualifications are concerned by the VAE:

  • the vocational capacity certificate (certificat de capacité professionnelle - CCP), the vocational aptitude diploma (diplôme d’aptitude professionnelle - DAP), the technician's diploma (diplôme de technicien - DT), the secondary school leaving diploma and the master craftsman's certificate;
  • the advanced technician's certificate (brevet de technicien supérieur - BTS), solely in terms of access to studies or obtaining exemptions;
  • Bachelor's and Master's degrees, solely in terms of access to studies or obtaining exemptions.

To find out more, come and join the information sessions, which are open to everyone, regardless of age, educational background or professional situation.

The information sessions take place at the Chamber of Employees, 2-4 rue Pierre Hentges, L-1726 Luxembourg, on:

  • Monday 2 March 2026 from 18.00 to 19.00 in French (presentation on site and via livestream);
  • Wednesday 4 March 2026 from 18.00 to 19.00 in Luxembourgish (presentation on site and via livestream).

Participation is free of charge, but online registration to the sessions is mandatory.
