When you register a vehicle, you must prove its conformity using the following documents:

• a European certificate of conformity;
• a photo of the manufacturer's plate;
• the conformity sticker, if your vehicle is not subject to the technical inspection, such as :
  • motor vehicles with a maximum design speed that does not exceed 25 km/h;
  • mopeds and light quadricycles, etc.;

The valid conformity sticker is an integral part of the vehicle documents.

If it expires, you can apply for its renewal to the National Society of Automotive Traffic (Société nationale de circulation automobile - SNCA):

• online via MyGuichet.lu. This is a procedure requiring authentication;
• by post, to the SNCA;
• at the reception desk of one of the 3 SNCA sites.
