The property tax reform project was presented on 7 October 2022.

The aim of this reform is to remove inequalities in property tax matters and to create a new, more transparent and fairer model of land valuation.

This reform will apply at the earliest in the year 2026.

To enable you to estimate the amount of property tax you will have to pay as a result of this reform, the government has made available an online property tax simulator, which will show the amounts in the property tax bracket that may apply to your parcel of land.
