Accident Insurance Association

The Accident Insurance Association (Association d'assurance contre les accidents, AAA) manages accident insurance. Under the supervision of the Ministry of Health and Social Security (ministère de la Santé et de la Sécurité sociale), this public institution is responsible for preventing and compensating for occupational accidents and diseases.

Accident insurance covers actual occupational accidents, accidents on the way to and from work and occupational diseases. It also offers a number of benefits for medical treatments, as well as annuities.
