Professional chambers

The 5 professional chambers in Luxembourg are public institutions that primarily serve to defend the interests of a specific category of workers (private sector employees, craftsmen, merchants, farmers, etc.). They are official, elected representatives of the professions. As such, and due to their composition, the chambers are able to voice the opinion of all groups within the national community.

The professional chambers, above all, are tasked with advising the public authorities in areas that affect the interests of their citizens.
