The Criminal Records Department and the Civil Register are moving

On 16 September 2024, the Criminal Records Department and the Civil Register move to a new address.

These services used to be at the Cité judiciaire but are now located at 35, rue de Bonnevoie, L-1260 Luxembourg.

The postal address remains unchanged:

Plateau du St. Esprit

L-2080 Luxembourg 

The new telephone numbers for these services are:

  • the Criminal Records Department at (+352) 24 73 23 87; and
  • the Civil Register at (+352) 24 73 81 23 41.

The opening hours of these services are also changing. They are now Monday to Friday, from 09.00 to 12.00 and from 13.00 to 16.00.

Please note: Due to its relocation, the Criminal Records Department will be closed to the public on Monday 16 September 2024.
