Vous recevez votre convocation
Avant les élections, vous recevez une enveloppe avec la poste.
Vous recevez l’enveloppe au moins 5 jours avant le jour des élections.
Les papiers suivants sont dans l’enveloppe :
- La convocation.
La convocation est une lettre.
Dans la lettre est écrit que vous devez voter.
La convocation vous dit aussi quand aller voter et où aller voter :- Nom et adresse du bureau de vote.
- Heures d’ouverture du bureau de vote.
- Les règles pour voter.
Sur la lettre est écrit : les instructions.
Ces règles expliquent par exemple :
Comment vous remplissez le bulletin de vote.
Combien de voix vous avez.
Combien de croix vous pouvez faire.

Vous avez oublié votre papier d’identité ?
Une personne qui travaille dans le bureau de vote vous connait.
Alors vous pouvez voter quand-même.
Comment voter au bureau de vote ?
Comment voter au bureau de vote le jour des élections ?
- Vous allez à votre bureau de vote entre 8:00 heures et 14:00 heures.
Des personnes travaillent au bureau de vote :
les responsables du bureau de vote. - Vous montrez votre carte d’identité ou votre passeport à un responsable.
Le responsable vous donne alors votre bulletin de vote. - Avec votre bulletin vous allez dans la cabine de vote.
Les noms des partis et des candidats sont écrits sur le bulletin. - Vous cochez des candidats ou des partis sur le bulletin.
Vous pouvez faire moins de croix que vous avez de voix.
Vous pouvez même faire aucune croix.
Mais vous devez aller au bureau de vote.
Vous devez seulement faire vos croix sur le bulletin.
N'écrivez rien d’autre sur le bulletin de vote.
Vous avez fait une erreur ?
Ou votre bulletin de vote est cassé ?
Par exemple : Votre croix est à côté de la case.
Alors dites-le à un responsable.
Il vous donne alors un nouveau bulletin de vote.
- Vous avez fait vos croix ?
Alors repliez votre bulletin comme il était plié avant.
Le tampon doit être à l’extérieur.
Ne montrez à personne pour qui vous avez voté. - Allez chez un responsable du bureau de vote.
Il vous montre une boîte.
C’est l’urne électorale.
Jetez votre bulletin dans cette boîte.
Vous avez besoin d'aide dans la cabine de vote ?
Vous avez un handicap ?
Ou vous avez un tuteur ?
Alors si vous le voulez,
une personne peut vous accompagner dans la cabine.
Cette personne s’appelle : un guide ou un soutien.
Le guide peut remplir le bulletin pour vous,
si vous ne pouvez pas le faire seul.
Ou vous remplissez le bulletin,
et le guide vous aide.
Le guide ne doit pas vous dire pour qui voter.
Vous décidez vous-même pour qui vous votez.
Le guide ne doit jamais raconter pour qui vous votez.
Votre guide peut être par exemple :
un ami ou un éducateur.
Votre guide doit savoir lire et écrire.
Qui ne peut pas être votre guide ?
Ces personnes ne peuvent pas vous accompagner dans la cabine de vote :
- Des candidats.
- La famille d’un candidat :
- Les frères et sœurs d’un candidat.
- Les parents et les enfants d’un candidat.
- Les grands-parents et les petits-enfants d’un candidat.
- Des candidats déjà élus. Par exemple : le maire.
- Votre tuteur, si vous en avez un.
- Une personne qui n'a pas le droit de voter.
Vous êtes une personne malvoyante ou aveugle ?
Alors vous pouvez remplir le bulletin de vote avec un gabarit de vote.
Au Luxembourg on dit : "Wal-Schabloun".
Le gabarit de vote est en plastique et transparent.
Vous placez le bulletin de vote dans le gabarit.
Sur le gabarit sont écrits des signes, en braille.
Le braille est l’écriture des personnes aveugles ou malvoyantes.
Elles sentent les points avec leurs doigts.
Sur le gabarit de vote, chaque candidat a un chiffre.
Les chiffres et les noms des candidats sont écrits dans un cahier.
Vous trouvez ainsi quel numéro correspond à quel nom.
Il y a des trous derrière les chiffres sur le gabarit.
Les trous vous permettent de sentir
où vous pouvez mettre les croix sur le bulletin de vote.
Vous pouvez demander le gabarit de vote au CDV
(Centre pour le développement des compétences relatives à la vue).

Quand le bulletin de vote n’est-il pas valable ?
Votre bulletin de vote n’est pas valable si :
- ce n'est pas le bulletin de vote,
que vous avez reçu au bureau de vote. - il y a trop de voix, c'est-à-dire de croix, sur le bulletin.
- il n'y a pas de croix sur le bulletin.
- vous rayez, écrivez ou dessinez quelque chose sur le bulletin.
Il ne faut pas reconnaître par un signe qui a voté. - un autre bulletin ou un objet se trouve dans le bulletin de vote.
Si vous vous trompez,
vous pouvez demander un nouveau bulletin au bureau de vote.
Vous travaillez le jour des élections. Que faire ?
Le jour de l’élection est normalement un dimanche.
Vous travaillez le jour des élections ?
Vous devez travailler quand le bureau de vote est ouvert ?
Alors votre chef doit vous libérer.
Ainsi vous pouvez aller voter.
Vous ne devez pas demander du congé pour ça.
Et votre chef ne doit pas enlever ce temps de votre congé.
