Sign in to MyGuichet.lu

Users who wish to submit their administrative procedures and applications online have to sign in to MyGuichet.lu with their new LuxTrust product or their eID and register.

2.1 Before you sign in to MyGuichet.lu

To access MyGuichet.lu through Guichet.lu, users must:

  • be in possession of a LuxTrust product or a Luxembourg eID card (electronic identity card);
  • have installed the LuxTrust middleware on their computer (unless they use a Token) and activated their LuxTrust certificate;
  • have their national identification number (13-digit number) available.
With a LuxTrust product or eID, users have:

1. a legal electronic signature certificate that is equivalent to a manual signature;

2. an authentication certificate that can be used to connect easily to government and private online applications.

2.2 Use a LuxTrust product or eID

The different products that can be used to sign in to MyGuichet.lu are:

  • a LuxTrust Token;
  • a LuxTrust Smartcard;
  • a LuxTrust Signing Stick;
  • LuxTrust Scan;
  • LuxTrust Mobile;
  • a Luxembourg electronic ID card (eID).

2.3 Sign in to MyGuichet.lu with a new LuxTrust product or eID

To sign in to MyGuichet.lu with a new LuxTrust product or eID, users must first go to Guichet.lu and click on the tab "Log in" in the MyGuichet.lu section.

Once connected to the Luxembourg government's authentication portal (eAccess), the user needs to fill in:

  • their surname;
  • their first name;
  • their email address (if they have not already communicated it to LuxTrust when they ordered their product);
  • their Luxembourg national identification number (13-digit number).

Next, click the "Register" button. The data is then checked and a confirmation page appears, where the user is invited to consult the email address he or she has entered in order to check whether they have received a message from the CTIE.

2.4 Confirm registration

An email, from security.public.lu with the subject line "Creation of your user account on Guichet Unique" (Création de votre compte utilisateur sur le Guichet Unique) will be sent to the email address provided at the time of registration.

The email contains instructions and a link to confirm the registration. The link is valid for 72 hours.


The user clicks on that link, which takes them to the page "Last step in your registration in the application" (Dernière étape pour vous enregistrer dans l'application). They then accept the general terms and conditions of use and click "Register".

The registration process is now complete.

A confirmation letter is sent to the user by post, with the subject "Confirmation of your registration with a government web application".

2.5 Sign in to MyGuichet.lu

Users have 2 possibilities for accessing Myguichet.lu:

  1. They go to the homepage of www.guichet.lu and then select the feature of MyGuichet.lu they wish to access from the section "Homepage MyGuichet.lu".
    • Log in;
    • My data;
    • My procedures;
    • My messages.
  2. They must go to the homepage of MyGuichet.lu then select the feature in MyGuichet.lu which they wish to use:
    • Log in;
    • My data;
    • My procedures;
    • My messages.

From the page which then opens, the user must select their LuxTrust product (Token, Smartcard, Signing Stick, LuxTrust Mobile, LuxTrust Scan) or their eID.

2.6 Enter your access code(s)

2.6.1 Sign in with a Token

When signing in with a Token, the user must enter:

  • their user ID (4 letters followed by 4 digits, sent by SMS or post by LuxTrust);
  • their password (6- to 10-character PIN);
  • their OTP (the 6-digit one-time password displayed after pressing the button on the Token).

2.6.2 Sign in with a Smartcard

When signing in with a Smartcard, the user must click on "Authenticate". A new pop-up window opens in which the user must enter their PIN and click on "Confirm".

NB: the user has to click inside the box where the PIN must be entered before entering it.

 

2.6.3 Sign in with a Signing Stick

When signing in with a Signing Stick, the user must click on "Authenticate". A new pop-up window opens in which the user must enter their PIN and click on "Confirm".

2.6.4 Sign in with an eID

When signing in with an electronic identity card (eID), the user must click on "Authenticate". A new pop-up window opens in which the user must enter their PIN and click on "Confirm".
