The General Directorate for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises is the preferred contact for small and medium-sized businesses. It is active in the following 4 main areas:
- authorisation of establishment (business permit, notification of provision of services);
- support to SMEs;
- commercial practices (opening hours, sales, scams);
- SME policy.
Future entrepreneurs can submit their application for a business permit to the
Business Permit Desk (
Guichet Autorisations d'établissement) at the
House of Entrepreneurship – One-Stop Shop, where they can also track the progress of their application.
