The Legal Reception and Information Service (Service d'accueil et d'information juridique) caters to individuals looking for information and guidance towards the competent services, in the following areas in particular:
- civil law;
- leasing;
- divorce;
- criminal law;
- labour law.
The goal of the Legal Reception and Information Service is to:
- inform individuals about the judicial procedures and processes;
- offer and distribute model forms and applications;
- explain the legal procedures and actions for which a lawyer is not needed.
The service does not provide information to people who are already being assisted by a lawyer.
The legal information is provided in an individual and confidential consultation. The legal information is provided free of charge.
