The Board of Appeals for secondary technical education is responsible for deciding on appeal applications from parents of students who are opposed to the educational pathway suggested for their child. To do so, the Board issues opinions on cases submitted by the parents of students who, when moving from primary to secondary school, were placed in a modular class of the preparatory stream of secondary technical education (enseignement secondaire technique – EST) but for whom the parents are requesting admission to the 7^th EST class.
