Lycée Technique Josy Barthel Mamer (LJBM) is a public institution which provides 3 types of education:

• secondary education (enseignement secondaire – ES) in the lower and upper divisions (Sections C, D and G);
• secondary technical education (enseignement secondaire technique – EST) in the lower, intermediate and upper cycles of the technical stream (general technical division: 10^th-11^th; general technical section: 12^th-13^th), technician training stream (civil engineering division: 10^th-13^th) and vocational stream (building trades and architectural design sections);
• higher vocational training culminating in an Advanced technician's certificate (Brevet de technicien supérieur – BTS) in construction site management.
