Founded in 1896, the Lycée des Arts et Métiers (LAM), formerly known as 'Handwerkerschule', offers different types of programmes:

• Classic secondary education (computer science and communications);
  
• General secondary education (sections: engineering, computer science, natural sciences and arts and visual communication);
  
• Technician training system (sections: arts, electrical engineering, computer science and mechanics);
  
• Vocational aptitude programme (sections: arts, electrical engineering, computer science, mechanics and mechatronics);
  
• Advanced technician's certificate (fields: arts, computer science, technical engineering).
