The SNCI puts in place "special anti-crisis financing"
The SNCI (Société Nationale de Crédit et d’Investissement) has put in place a “Special Anti-Crisis Financing – SACF”, for a maximum total amount of EUR 400 millions corresponding to a total leverage effect of nearly EUR 700 millions, including bank financing.
Who is concerned
This financing instrument is aimed at Luxembourg SMEs and large companies which have a business permit.
Preliminary steps
Loans from the SNCI are disbursed upon request of the client’s bank without further formalities.
Deadlines
The SACF was put in place with a view to financing any exceptional needs that have arisen in light of the COVID-19 crisis, for financing decisions taken until 31 December 2020.
How to proceed
Form and granting of the aid
This is indirect financing via the client’s usual bank: the SNCI finances up to 60 % of the required amount, provided that the bank finances 40 %.
The amount of SACF (financed by the SNCI) can vary between EUR 12,500 and EUR 10 millions.
Duration of financing
The maximum duration of the SACF is 5 years with an initial grace period on the repayment of the capital of maximum 2 years.
