The Seniorekaart is an annual subscription for seniors. It is valid for the entire Luxembourg public transport network, which applies a nationwide pricing system.
The Seniorekaart is issued to any person who is aged 60 or older.
It is also possible to buy a 1st class Seniorekaart to travel in 1st class on CFL trains.
The Seniorekaart is issued within a maximum of 8 working days.
The Seniorekaart costs EUR 100.
The 1st class subscription costs EUR 200.
The Seniorekaart is issued by the Transport Association (Communauté des Transports) (Verkéiersverbond). To obtain one, a duly completed application form must be submitted at one of the following issuing outlets:
To obtain a Seniorekaart from Mobilitéitszentral, the interested party must submit their application in person either at the Luxembourg station ticket counter, or the Belval-Université station ticket counter.
To obtain a Seniorekaart, interested parties residing in Luxembourg-City may submit their application by post or in person to the Reception Desk of the Luxembourg City Bus Services (Info-box).
To obtain a Seniorekaart from the CFL, the interested party must submit their application in person at one of the CFL stations.
To obtain a Seniorekaart from the TICE, the interested party must submit their application in person at the subscription office of the Esch-sur-Alzette railway station.
