Increase in the social minimum wage, the REVIS and the allowance for severely disabled persons

Since 1 January 2023, the social minimum wage (SSM), the social inclusion income (REVIS) and the income for the severely disabled persons (RPGH) have been increased.

Thus, the SSM currently amounts to EUR 2,387.40 (at index 877.01).

The RPGH currently amounts to EUR 1,675.09 instead of EUR 1,623.18 previously.

The REVIS is made up of:

  • the social inclusion benefit (formerly the 'supplementary allowance' part of the guaranteed minimum income - RMG); and
  • the activation benefit (formerly the 'integration allowance' part of the guaranteed minimum income).

The amount of the maximum monthly social inclusion benefit now includes:

  • a basic lump sum per adult of EUR 837.55;
  • a basic lump sum per child of EUR 260.04:
    • increased by EUR 76.83 per child in the case of a single-parent household;
  • an amount for joint expenses per household of EUR 837.55:
    • increased by EUR 125.68 in case of one or more children.
