The Luxembourg government has introduced an energy allowance for the year 2022. This alowance is intended for people whose income does not exceed the limits of the cost-of-living benefit (allocation de vie chère - AVC) increased by 25 %. To find out if you are eligible for the allowance, you can consult the table here.
The amount of the energy allowance is between EUR 200 and EUR 400 depending on the composition of the household. It is paid together with the cost-of-living benefit (AVC).
