In the context of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Agriculture, Viticulture and Rural Development has set up a new financial aid for agricultural holdings in the fruit and vegetable sectors, as well as in the sector of potatoes for human consumption.
It takes the form of a direct non-repayable aid that can be requested for the calendar year 2020. Depending on the holding's individual situation, the amount of aid can amount to a maximum of EUR 20,000.

Applications for the cost-of-living allowance for the current year must be submitted to the National Solidarity Fund (FNS) by 30 September 2021 at the latest. The postmark serves as proof of the date.
